In Lane County there are currently over 1,000 children in foster care. Most of these children come from a history of abuse, neglect, and substance abuse. Foster Cakes desires to create a happy memory for these children that are oftentimes forgotten by society.  Through FREE birthday cakes or cupcakes we hope to show these children that they are a truly valuable part of our community. We do not want them to feel forgotten, but to know that they are thought of and loved.  Foster Cakes requires the involvement of community members including grocery store owners, restaurants, cake decorators, as well as those willing to make monetary donations. Foster Cakes gives the opportunity for those unable to become foster parents to support these children in a tangible way. These children are our future. We ALL can make a difference in the life of a child!
